On Sunday, Asus revealed six new Chromebook in India and four of them are already available on Flipkart in the country. Expanding its portfolio, Asus said in a press statement that these laptops will enable millions of Indians to work, consume entertainment and learn new things online, from the comfort of their home. The six new Asus Chromebook includes: The Chromebook Flip C214, Chromebook C523, Chromebook C423, Chromebook C223 as well as the C423 and C523 in non-touch variants. The laptops will run on ChromeOS, with 80% body to screen ratio and will come at affordable prices.
Asus Chromebook C523 Specifications
Powered by the Intel Celeron N3350 dual processor with Intel Hd graphics, it is an 11.6 inch display with 200 nits of brightness and non-touch as well. It has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. With a 16:9 aspect ratio, the laptop has a 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage that is expandable upto 2TB with the help of a microSD card. It also contains a headphone jack, 720p HD webcam, Gen 1 Type-A USB ports and will feature 38Whr battery. The C523 is priced at 20,999 for the non-touch model and 24,999 for the touch model.
Asus Chromebook C223 Specifications
Similar to the C523, this laptop has also launched with a non-touch display, 11.6 inch HD screen, 200 nits brightness and contains a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. Like the C523, this laptop is also powered by the Intel Celeron N3350 dual processor with Intel HD graphics and is combined with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, which again is expandable upto 2TB with the use of a microSD card. Boasting a 38Whr battery, the laptop also features a headphone jack, 720p HD webcam, Type-C USB ports and a water resistant keyboard. The C223 is priced at Rs. 17,999 and is available in grey colour.
Chromebook 423 Specifications
Display features of this laptop include a 16:9 aspect ratio, 200 nits peak brightness, a 14 inch HD screen with the same pixel resolution as the others. It is also powered by the same Intel Celeron N3350 dual core processor. Storage options include the 64GB of storage paired with 4GB RAM, which can be extended upto 256GB with the help of a microSD card. Other important features include a 720p HD webcam, 38Whr battery, one USB Type-A port and 2 USB Type-C ports, an headphone jack and Google Assistant for Voice Recognition. The Chromebook 423 is priced at Rs 19,999 for the non-touch model and 23,999 for the touch model.
Chromebook C214 Specifications
Boasting a 50Whr battery, the Chromebook is water resistant, comes with a US MIL-STD 810G military grade standard certification and has an anti-glare touch display. A 11.6 inch HD screen with a resolution of 1266×768 pixels, the laptop allows the user to browse at high speed as it is backed by the Intel Celeron N4020 processor with UHD graphics. 64GB of internal storage is paired up with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. Other features include the 3.5mm headphone jack, one Type-A port and two USB Type-C ports and a microSD card reader. The C214 is priced at 23,999 and comes only in one colour, Grey.
