Huawei has launched its P50 series in the Chinese market. The smartphone launched under the P50 series contains a Vanilla and a Pro model. The phones were originally scheduled to be launched earlier this year by the company but the launch was delayed due to some obstacles but after a long wait, the P50 series is finally out. The company alongside the Huawei P50 series launched two wearables namely- Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG and Huawei Band 6 Pro. The P50 series has gone under modifications specifically on the rear side where the camera sensor setup is modified to be surrounded by double rings. Moreover, the P50 Pro model has some additional features along with diverse color variants. Huawei P50 Specifications and Price:
The Huawei P50 will be operated by HarmonyOS 2 and has an FHD+ flat OLED display of 6.5 inches with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and is paired with 8GB of RAM. If we talk about the camera setup then the phone has a triple camera setup on the rear side with a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. In the front, the punch hole cutout in the display has a 13-megapixel lens for selfies and video calls.
The phone will be available in 2 storage variants- the first one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage and the other with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. The Huawei P50 moreover has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone houses a battery of 4100mAh with 66W fast charging however, it does not support wireless charging.
The Huawei P50 will be available in 4 color variants-Cocoa Gold, Charm Pink, Golden Black and Pearl White. The phone will be sold in China from September this year. The lower variant of 8GB of RAM and 128 GB storage is priced at CNY 4,488 or Rs. 51,600 and the upper variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage will be priced at CNY 4,988 or Rs. 57,300.
Huawei P50 Pro Specifications and Price:
The Huawei P50 Pro is powered by 2 processors- the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 9000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The phone will be operated by the pre-installed HarmonyOS 2. The phone will have up to 12GB of RAM paired with 512GB of storage. The smartphone has a curved HD+ OLED of 6.6-inches with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
If we talk about the camera which is the speciality of this model, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. On the front, the selfie camera is 13-megapixel, the company says that the P50 Pro model has an HDR vivid mode and enhances the image quality.
The phone houses a 4360mAh battery with 66W fast charging and unlike P50 supports 50-W wireless fast charging. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor just like the P50 model.
The phone will be available in 5 storage variants with different pricing as listed below-
- 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant– has only one chipset-Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. This variant is priced at CNY 5,988 or Rs. 69,000.
- 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage variant- this variant has both the chipsets and carries a price tag of CNY 6,488.
- 8GB of RAM and 512GB storage variant- this variant also has both variants and carries a price tag of CNY 7,488 or Rs. 74,600.
- 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage variant- This variant will be available by September 2021 and carries a price tag of CNY 7,988 or Rs. 91,800. This variant will have only Kirin 9000 in Ripple Blue only.
- 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage variant-This variant also has Kirin 9000 only and will be available in Black with a charger by September. This variant carries a price tag of CNY 8,488 or Rs. 97,500.
These 8GB variants will be available by 8 August 2021 while the 12GB variants will be sold in September. The P50 Pro will be available in Cocoa Gold, Charm Pink, Dynamic Sky Blue, Golden Black and Pearl White color options.
Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG Specifications and Price:
This watch has a 1.39-inches AMOLED touchscreen display and has SpO2 monitoring. The watch comes with various sensors including the accelerometer and optical heart rate sensor. It is made up of an Alloy Titanium body. The watch has an onboard storage of 4GB and has both navigation and power buttons. The watch has 100+ sport modes to track the activity effectively. It supports wireless charging and can be utilized for 12-days after a single charge.
The Watch GT 2 Pro ECG is priced at CNY 3,088 or Rs. 35,500 and will be available for purchase starting the 12th of August. The watch will be available in a single color variant-Obsidian Black.
Huawei Band 6 Pro Specifications and Price:
The fitness band has a 1.47 inches AMOLED touchscreen with a silicon strap. The user can check notifications via the watch and the band has 96 sports modes. It has a few sensors including the accelerometer and the optical heart rate sensor. It has a vast range of health tracking sensors like menstrual, SPO2 and sleep tracking. It has a charging port and the company says that the battery will last for 14 days if used normally. The connectivity on the device includes Wifi and Bluetooth. The NFC support in the band lets the user click shots, control the music panel and take a look at the weather.
The Band 6 Pro will be sold starting August 20th and is priced at CNY 449 or Rs. 5,100. The fitness band will be available in 2 color variants- Magic Night Black and Mica Gray.
