Lenovo Legion 5 Pro has been announced by the company and will be available in the country next month. The gaming laptop’s hardware was updated back in January and will contain the latest internal hardware of all the Legion gaming laptops of the company. Apart from that, the company has also announced that it will be launching something called the Legion Ultimate Support, which will be the official help centre of Lenovo‘s Legion gaming laptop services. The basic function of this support feature is that it will let the customer enjoy 24×7 support via chat or a phone call and also enable the customers to get valuable advice from the professionals to customise and optimise their gaming laptop for the best experience.
In terms of specifications, the laptop launches with a Legion AI engine which will let the user shift and also interchange the power between the CPU and GPU of the laptop, which will in-turn increase the framing rate of the AAA gaming titles. The laptop supports HDR400 and Dolby Vision and contains a VESA certified display. A big touchpad, RGB lighting and soft landing switches are some of the features that the Legion TrueStrike keyboard packs on this particular laptop.
With an 16 inch QLED display and a pixel resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, it supports AMD FreeSynch and the Nvidia G-Sync. It has a refresh rate of 165Hz, 3ms response time and an 8 hour battery life on a single charge, as claimed by the company.
Powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU which packs a 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. The gaming laptop boasts a 16GB DDR4 RAM that can be expanded to 32GB. For storage purposes, it contains a 1TB M.2 PCie 3.0×4 NVMe SSD which can be expanded upto 2TB.
An 80Whr battery, two 2W speakers with Nahimic audio and a 720p webcam shutter are the audio and video features available on this laptop. Bluetooth, WiFi, USB 3.0 Type-A ports, USB Type-C port, HDMI and and 3.5 mm headphone are the connectivity functions that come with this gaming device.
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro will be available on Lenovo’s official website and Amazon and other offline stores in August 2021. The 16GB RAM version will start at a price of Rs. 1,39,990 and the 32GB version which contains Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU will be priced at Rs. 1,59,990. Both the models will come in storm grey colour and will offer Lenovo’s Legion Ultimate Support.
