Yesterday on 22nd July 2021 Oneplus launched its next-generation Nord smartphone. The OnePlus Nord 2 is a mid-range smartphone and its specifications have left many fans stunned. The company already revealed the battery life: the phone under the hood will house a battery of 4500 mAh and will support 65W fast charging. OnePlus launched 4 storage variants of the smartphone OnePlus Nord 2 with each amassing different colour options and availability dates. The lowest storage variant launched by the company has 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and is available exclusively in Blue Haze colour and carries a price tag of ₹ 27,999 and will be sold in August. The other variant has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is available in two colour options- Blue Haze and Grey Sierra and carries a price tag of ₹29,999 and will be sold starting 28th of this month the upper variant will also be sold ton 28th of this month and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage and will carry a price tag of ₹ 34,999 and will be available in three colours – Blue Haze, Grey Sierra and Green Woods. However, the Green Woods colour edition will be sold somewhere in August.
The OnePlus Nord 2 is the first smartphone to clasp the Mediatek Dimensity processor, the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI SoC with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The OnePlus Nord 2 has an FHD+ fluid AMOLED display of 6.43 inches and has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone is operated by Android 11 OS paired with the company’s own Oxygen OS. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and has noise cancellation feature.
Moving onto the camera the OnePlus Nord 2 has a triple camera setup, the primary sensor is a Sony IMX 766 50-megapixel lens, the second camera is an ultra-wide lens of 8-megapixel and the third one is a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front camera has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter for advanced experience while video calling or clicking selfies. The phone altogether satisfies the OnePlus fan base and is exactly what Indians were waiting for.
The phone will be accessible to be purchased from the 28th of this month but the prime day sale by Amazon will begin early that is on the 26th. The phone will be available in various e-commerce stores as well as the e-store of the company itself.
