The highly anticipated launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 is getting closer than ever and the company has been hinting at new features. The company will unveil the smartphone on July 22 along with their brand new OnePlus Buds Pro TWS earbuds. There have been many leaks and renders about the phone and most of them show that the phone will contain a hole punch display design and slim bezels. Until now, all OnePlus phones came with Qualcomm processors but this phone is going to be powered by a MediaTek processor as per the reports.
In terms of the specifications, the OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to feature 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage. With FHD+ sAMOLED display, the phone is expected to have 6.43 inch screen with HDR10+ and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will have a plastic frame which is then protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 from the front and back.
The company claims that the 4000 mAh battery, supported by 65W fast charging, will charge from 0-100 in under half an hour. Other important features of the smartphone include AI gaming, Dual speakers and AI photography etc.
One special feature that the cameras are set to have in this smartphone is that the shooters will also have an AI resolution boost, AI HDR and AI Colour boost for Snapchat and Instagram. With a triple rear camera setup on the back, a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary shooter, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2MP mono sensor, the camera on the Nord 2 promises to be worth the money. For selfies, the phone is touted to have a 32MP Sony IMX 616 snapper on the front camera.
Set to be launched in two different colour schemes of Blue haze and Grey Sierra, it will also launch in a special leather black edition with green woods colour. Although there has been no official communication on the aspect of price of the smartphone, the base model of the device is set to be launched at Rs. 31,999 and the higher end model at Rs. 34,999.
