The specifications, price and availability of the color option of the whole new Oppo A93s 5G smartphone come from the recent launch of the device in China. The launch of the Oppo A93s 5G in the markets of China hints at what the phone clenches, the official announcement on launching the Oppo A93s 5G globally has not been made yet. Let’s start with the specifications of the smartphone.
The Oppo A93s 5G has a full HD+ LCD of 6.5 inches with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The smartphone has a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC chipset. The smartphone is operated by the company‘s own Color OS 11 which is based on the Android 11. The phone was launched in a single variant in the Chinese markets which has 8GB of RAM and internal storage of 256 GB.
The smartphone houses a battery of 5,000mAh and supports 18W fast charging, the A93s 5G weighs 188 grams and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moving onto the camera of the smartphone, on the rear side the smartphone has a rectangular-shaped triple camera setup, the cameras are arranged vertically in the rectangular outlet. The first primary sensor is 48-megapixel, the second is the portrait lens of 2-megapixel and the third one is a macro sensor of 2-megapixel. The front selfie camera is 8-megapixel and supports a vast variety of shooting modes. The connectivity features of the smartphone include Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB type C port.
The phone in Chinese markets will be ready to be purchased by the 30th of July and will be available in three color options- Early Summer Light Sea, Summer Night Star River and White Peach Soda. The company announced the price of the Oppo A93s 5G to be CNY 1,999 which is approximately 23,000 INR. If the same variant will be launched in India then it will be priced to be somewhere around ₹23,000. However, the company has not yet announced the international launch of the Oppo A93s 5G, we need to wait until we unpack what the device holds for us.
