Poco is planning to launch F3 GT in India and before its launch, the company came up with another 4GB+64GB variant of Poco M3 that was initially launched in February 2021. The phone was first revealed in India in November 2020 and has since received a positive response from the audience. According to reports, it has already sold over 7.5 million units as of February 2021. And now in July 2021, the smartphone has somehow received an increase in price instead of a decrease. The smartphone is now available on Flipkart in the country.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone packs a 6.53 inch FHD+ display with a water drop notch from the front camera. Its resolution is 1080×2340 and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and a new 4GB RAM variant available for this device. The smartphone will run on MIUI 12 based Android 10.
The device supports 18W fast charging with a 6000mAh battery and comes with a dual stereo speaker setup. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, Dual 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
For the camera, it packs a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter, a 2MP depth sensor and another 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, it has an 8MP front camera at the water drop notch on the front of the smartphone.
It was launched in three different colour variants of Poco M3: yellow, Power black and Cool blue. It will come in two variants as the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version will be priced at Rs. 10,499 and the 6GB RAM and 64/128GB version is priced at Rs. 12,499.
With a stylish rectangular camera panel at the rear, the Poco logo and the power button as a fingerprint scanner, the Poco M3 seems like a decent option for the low-range smartphones out in the market at a very reasonable price. For people who desire a better version of this smartphone and want to remain loyal to the company, the Poco M3 Pro offers a step up on the features and a more premium design making it look more desirable to the eye.
