After its release in Russia last month, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 10T in India and the highlight is that the smartphone will support 5G, unlike the one that was released in Russia. The company took to Twitter to make the announcement and promoted it with the the words “Fast and Futuristic” and the one that bridges the gap between your past and your future. The device will be available on Xiaomi’s offline and online stores and Amazon as well. The smartphone will go live for sale on July 26. Offers on HDFC bank credit card and EMI options will be available.
In terms of the specifications, the smartphone will run on Android 11 based MIUI and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. With a 20:9 aspect ratio, 1080×2400 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate, it also packs a 6.5 inch FHD+ display. A side mounted fingerprint sensor can be seen on the smartphone.
The phone will come in two variants; the 4GB + 64GB version and the 6GB + 128GB version which will be priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,999 respectively. Metallic blue, Chromium white, Graphite black and mint green will be the colour schemes on which the smartphone will be released. 161.81×75.34×8.92 are the device’s measurements and it weighs a mere 190 grams.
Coming back to the features, the sensors on the phone include a light ambient sensor, a proximity sensor, gyroscope, a magnetometer and an accelerometer. 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port are the phone’s connectivity features. The smartphone will support 18W fast charging with a 5000mAh battery.
As for the camera, it will pack a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter of f/1.79 lens, a 2MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For video chats and selfies, the phone boasts a 8MP front camera which has a f/2.0 lens.
The hole punch display at the front, the vertical rectangular panel at the rear for cameras and flash and 5G support, the Redmi Note 10T seems like an absolute steal at that price.
