Sennheiser IE Pro series has finally launched in India after high anticipation from audiophiles and the German company has launched both, the Sennheiser IE 100 PRO Wireless and the Wired version of the in-ear headphones. Vipun Pungalia, Director of Professional Segment Sennheiser India, said that the compact design doubled with the wearing comfort and quality sound, makes the in-ear headphones a “perfect companion” for audio fanatics and they are specially designed for heavy stage use. Excitingly, he announced the launch of the in-ear headphones in the Indian Market and said that these earphones are especially designed for people in fields like music, sound engineer and DJ for precise monitoring sound for live stages, mixing and producing.
In terms of the specifications, the earphones contain a single 10mm driver and have an impedance rating of 20 Ohms. The in-ear headphones have a sensitivity rating of 115dB and the frequency response range of 20 to 18,000 Hz. Other features include a 10 hours battery life with just 1.5 hours to charge and the use of Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity paired with a USB Type-C cable and in-line microphone.
A standard 3.55mm headphone jack is included on the in-ear headphones and in the box, it contains a 1.3m length cable. The special feature that these in-ear headphones include is that the device supports Qualcomm aptX low latency codec for the audio to travel better from the source, while connected with Bluetooth 5.0. The company is also thinking about launching an interchangeable cable which would work on both the models and other future models in the IE series. This cable would help offer suppression of structure-borne noise.
The Sennheiser IE 100 Pro Wired version is priced at Rs. 9,900 and the Wireless version of the in-ear headphones are priced at Rs. 11,900 in India. They will be available in three different colour schemes: Red, black and clear. Starting from July 26, they will be available on Amazon for the customers to buy. No information has been revealed regarding discounts and offers for this product as of now. The Sennheiser IE Pro BT will be available on Amazon separately and later on, at a price of Rs. 7,900.
