Sony Xperia 10 III Lite with triple cameras launched: Specifications & Price

Japanese tech giant Sony has recently launched a mid-range priced smartphone, namely the Sony Xperia 10 III Lite, exclusively for the Japanese markets. The smartphone was quietly launched in Japan, and as the name suggests, it is a Lite version for the previously launched Sony Xperia 10 III. The smartphone also has a dual-sim feature, with one physical sim card slot and the second slot being an eSIM. Unlike many smartphones in the market, the Xperia 10 III Lite carries a slightly thicker bezel design from the top and bottom, not compromising on the display size. The front camera of the smartphone is housed inside the top bezel.

The smartphone will exclusively be available for the Japanese markets and can be bought from Rakuten Mobile, IIJmio, Mineo, goo, and nuro Mobile. The Black and White color variants of the smartphone are available with all of the retail outlets. However, the Blue and Pink color variants are exclusive to Rakuten Mobile. The Xperia 10 III Lite will be up for sale from 27th August. Unfortunately, there is no official news on if the global markets, including India, will be getting the smartphone, though it is doubtful.

Sony Xperia 10 III Lite Price & Specifications:

The Xperia 10 Lite III comes with a 6-inch FHD+ OLED Triluminos Display and runs on Android 11. For durability, the smartphone comes equipped with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 screen protection. And IP68 dust & water resistance. In addition, the smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G processor, accompanied by an Adreno 619 as its GPU.

Under storage option, the smartphone comes with a sole 6GB RAM plus 64GM storage model priced at JPY 46,800 (Rs. 31,600). The smartphone also comes with a MicroSD slot that provides expandable storage of up to a whopping 1TB. The smartphone’s battery is sized at 4500mAh and supports 30W fast charging.

Sony Xperia 10 III Lite’s camera layout comes with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 12MP wide-angle sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera of the smartphone is an 8MP selfie camera. For security, the smartphone provides a side-mounted fingerprint scanner too.

Additionally, the Xperia 10 III Lite comes with the infamous 3.5mm jack. And connectivity options like Wi-F-, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

The smartphone fits in the mid-range smartphone category and comes with decent features for the price. However, the smartphone is suited more towards the needs of the Japanese consumer and is a perfect Lite version of the Sony Xperia 10 III.
