Xiaomi has begun rolling out MIUI 12.5 update to limited users of the Poco X3 Pro

The MIUI 12.5 update that rolled out in February is arriving for Poco X3 Pro users in India. Poco X3 Pro is going to be the first device ever by the company to receive this update. For those who might be wondering why there is so much enthusiasm for the MIUI 12.5 update, the update consumes 25% less power than before, is faster and lighter and consumes 35% less background memory. 

The smartphone Poco X3 Pro came out in March and started receiving the MIUI 12.5 update in May but the update was restricted to only European regions but now MIUI 12.5 with firmware version MIUI 12.5.3.0.RJUINXM is coming to India for a limited number of users. Let’s have a look at what the update has to offer.

Beginning with the size of the update which is 830 Mbs as per the users who have been using it. The users who uploaded their experiences on various social media sites said that via this update the company has moreover curtailed the system apps however some of the system apps will be uninstallable. The MIUI 12.5 update originated on Android 11. The UI animation is also improved to promote a greater experience. There are also updates on the computing power; 20 times more rendering engines than the previous one.

Anuj Sharma, the country director of the Poco explained the motive behind launching the update in a limited number, by saying “to monitor for the possibility of any network or app other than those we tested to behave differently than intended, we are releasing a limited release.”

If no crucial issues are detected then the update will be released for all the Poco X3 Pro users and other Poco smartphone users out there. If you haven’t received the update yet, consider waiting for a couple of weeks until the update gets released for widespread use in the country.
